Tight-Tubes™ Headers

Hedman Tight-Tubes™ headers are engineered for street rod and engine swap projects where ordinary headers, and even many standard block hugger headers, still do not provide enough clearance. Their patented collector design tucks the tubes and hook-ups tight against the engine block to create one of the lowest profile header packages available for Roadsters and custom installations.

For decades, professional builders and experienced hot rodders have relied on Hedman Tight-Tubes™ headers when working with tight chassis, narrow frame rails and finicky engine combinations. Available applications include Chevy small block, Chevy big block, Chrysler & Dodge small block and classic 392 HEMI engines. In builds where off-the-shelf headers are limited or nonexistent, Tight-Tubes™ give builders more room to work around steering, bellhousings, motor mounts and other installed components.

Unlike ordinary low profile headers that focus only on packaging, Hedman Tight-Tubes™ headers are designed to maintain strong exhaust flow in a compact package. The patented 4-into-1 collector design provides more clearance than standard block hugger style headers while delivering performance that exceeds what many builders expect from a header built for such restrictive spaces. All designs are available Uncoated, or with Hedman’s HTC® Polished Silver or Black Maxx™ high temperature ceramic coating.

Important Fitment Note: Unless otherwise stated in the information provided on this site, all Hedman Hedders are designed for use on stock cylinder heads. The use of aftermarket cylinder heads, or cylinder heads not original equipment on the listed vehicle, may result in component or chassis interference, as well as spark plug clearance issues.
