I have a 68 Camaro, 396 with aluminum heads and was wondering which headers are allowed to be used with aluminum heads? Everywhere I look it says the high temperature coating headers are not recommended on aluminum heads, what is the reason for this? The only real reason it's never recommended is usually because aftermarket aluminum heads DO NOT have stock ports. Our headers are designed with stock ports so unless your aluminum heads are a stock version, there will be a problem with the header flange sealing at the head.
