I currently have a custom dual exhaust on my '08 Dodge Charger. Interior drone is a little high at cruising RPMs (1500-3000).
If I installed your Hot Tips single resonators on each pipe would you have an idea of the dB reduction they might give? Since there are so many different applications these tips are made for, we don't have a proven measure of how much these reduce sound due to all the factors like engine displacement, tube length, tube size, and so on. For instance, a Hummer will be blowing a lot more exhaust than a Honda Civic. What I can tell you is that it will reduce the sound coming out. It might also be a inexpensive alternative to installing Dynamat on your whole car! I know what you mean by that drone though. It's torture driving down the freeway with that tone vibrating the screws out of your sunglasses. Hope this helps!
